Real
Institute returns with their usual unusual alternative film nights.
Eisenstein's film about an
episode in the Russian Revolution is one of the most famous films of all
time and still one which surprisingly few people have actually seen. What
starts as a protest strike when the battleship crew are given rotten meat
for dinner ends in a riot. The sailors raise the red flag and try to ignite
the revolution in their home port Odessa...
Complete with the wry wit of our resident compere Bedwyr Williams and
the usual real adverts and really scrumptious refreshments.
