About Alternative Film Nights

Screening newly commissioned film and independent world cinema ranging from early classics to contemporary independents, three hour epics and super eight animated shorts. Alternative Film Nights also provide a platform for emerging and local filmmaking talent.

As much a social occaision as a cinema, the evening's entertainment will often feature a cabaret compere, live music, DJs, cakes, dubious comedians, spoof quiz shows and panel games, video links with famous weather-men, simultaneous tennis ball throwing, Darleks, more cakes this time lurid green in complexion, Dream Machines and more cake.

Alternative Film Nights can occur anywhere but tend to happen monthly in Betws-y-Coed.

Regular ballots of members helps determine the programme.
